TMZ just asked me if I’d be wearing a mask at my family Christmas and I said no? and now I feel like I’ve been tricked into a story about how I won’t wear a mask this Christmas. just know I am pro mask but don’t really wear one inside with my husband and kids I guess?

Today our great national fuckup is over, but the shame will last forever. with 2 impeachments, the creation of 3 million LESS jobs, 403,000 dead, a record low approval rating and god knows how many crimes, we can officially say Donald J Trump is the greatest at being the f*****g worst. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to have the guy with barely enough well done steak with ketchup fueled brainpower to power a lightbulb who doesn’t even know how to close an umbrella run the country. History will not be kind to you, you absolute psychopath. But I never was anyhow.

We are going to talk to her in the same way we would have loved to hear it. We don’t really censor ourselves in talking about bodies. We don’t have that taboo that goes along with saying the word ‘penis’ or ‘vagina’, it’s silly. And you make sure your boy is the ultimate feminist, that he loves and respects women. You have to raise them to be feminists. That is our future.

At the annual issues conference for the House Democratic Caucus, talking about Trump's family separation immigration policy

You understand that people love their kids, blah, blah, blah. And I don’t want to necessarily say that it came from having children, but it’s a painful thing to see that. It’s a painful thing to see such a complete lack of empathy when it comes from people like Ivanka, I will say, that can post all day pictures of her children that are just in her home and ‘oh my daughter’s having trouble in her crib’ or ‘my daughter’s doing this’ and there are children out there that don’t have that opportunity.

At the Families Belong Together March in LA

Making America great doesn't mean building walls to keep people out; it means continuing to embrace the dreams of immigrants who add to our culture, our economy, and our humanity. [...] Making America greater most definitely doesn't mean turning asylum-seekers away or kidnapping their kids to turn them away from coming here.

John and I are outraged to see and hear the horror stories of immigrant families seeking asylum and refuge in America being ripped apart due to the inhumane policies of the Trump administration. These actions are cruel, anti-family and go against everything we believe this country should represent. The ACLU is committed to defending the rights and humanity of these vulnerable families. In addition to fighting for immigrants’ rights, they’re advocating for reproductive rights, voting rights, criminal justice reform, LGBT rights, 1st amendment rights and holding the Trump administration accountable whenever possible. [...] Each member of our family donated $72,000 to the ACLU.
