Fact about the Religious Beliefs of Ewan McGregor

I’m not a religious person myself, but I respect completely people’s religious beliefs. I can understand and appreciate that it is important to them. I wouldn’t want to be involved in a film that I thought challenged them for no reason at all. [...] I don’t follow a religion, and I don’t have a belief in a Christian God. It wasn’t something that I realized [working on the film], it was something I knew. It doesn’t mean that I am a spiritual-less person. I’m not. But I’ve often thought that talking about beliefs in that respect are private.
