What are the Religious Beliefs of Justin Bieber

I think so many pastors put themselves on this pedestal. And it’s basically, church can be surrounded around the man, the pastor, the guy, and it’s like, ‘This guy has this ultimate relationship with God that we all want but we can’t get because we’re not this guy.’ That’s not the reality, though. The reality is, every human being has the same access to God.

Many people would mistake me for a religious man, which i am not. Religion points out your flaws and perpetuates discouragement. Religion makes people feel better than others because they go to “church”… I am however inlove with the one who created me. I believe Jesus is the savior of humanity and that his love is what changes us… I believe that the brokenness of humanity pains God and that he sent an answer and provided hope in Jesus… my advice is to steer clear of religion, but put your hope in the eternal one who died an excruciating death so that you and i could truly live on for eternity. This is what I believe and it has brought me extraordinary peace through the pains of this broken planet. This truth helps me to let go and not store treasures here on earth. I believe this pain wont last forever, one day i will be in heaven where there is no pain or suffering but until then i live by faith and not by sight.

I’d had really bad examples of Christians in my life who would say one thing and do another so they were there my direct example of who Jesus was. […] I don’t know if I’d be alive for sure. It was dark, really dark. So I’m very, very grateful to have influences in my life that I’ve played a huge part in me seeing their relationship with Jesus and their relationship with their wives, their relationship with their kids and saying that’s what I want and striving after that. So Jesus wasn’t this religious elite guy that you know came to but he was he was in the dirt and he found me in my dirt and pulled me out. Like I said before, I’m a Jesus follower.

He doesn’t ask us not to have sex for him because he wants rules and stuff. He’s like, 'I’m trying to protect you from hurt and pain'. [...] I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul. And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result. [...] Doesn’t the Bible talk about righteous anger? We don’t want to lose each other. We don’t want to say the wrong thing, and so we’ve been struggling with not expressing our emotions, which has been driving me absolutely crazy because I just need to express myself, and it’s been really difficult to get her to say what she feels.

As soon as I could understand my worth and knew that like hey people aren’t giving me what need, like you know people are always wanting something. I can never tell if something’s really authentic. But when I really sit in my room and I’m alone and I can just like God are you there, like I feel this connection with something that’s a higher being it just and picture it as being perfect thing. […] It just puts an ease to my soul that’s like I can’t describe.

I think that people, as soon as they start hearing me saying I’m a Christian, they’re like, “Whoa Justin, back up, take a step back.” Also, I do not want to shove this down anyone’s throat. I just wanna honestly live like Jesus. Not be Jesus—I could never—I don’t want that to come across weird. He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, he died for our sins. Sometimes when I don’t feel like doing something, but I know it’s right, I remember, I’m pretty sure Jesus didn’t feel like going to the cross and dying so that we don’t have to feel what we should have to feel. What Jesus did when he came to the cross was basically say, “You don’t have to feel any of that stuff.” We could take out all of our insecurities, we could take away all of the hurt, all the pain, all the fear, all the trauma. That doesn’t need to be there. So all this healing that you’re trying to do, it’s unnecessary. We have the greatest healer of all and his name is Jesus Christ. And he really heals. This is it. It’s time that we all share our voice. Whatever you believe. Share it. I’m at a point where I’m not going to hold this in. [...] If we can understand that we’re all imperfect, let’s come to God and come for his help. You’re not weak by doing that. I think that’s a common misperception of Christians, that you’re being weak because you can’t handle it. None of us can handle this world, dude! It’s eating us alive. But, man, I don’t wanna have to do it on my own. I know for sure my parents can’t give me all that I need. I know that my friends can’t give me all that I need. There’s something missing. That’s why I think Christians do that. I don’t wanna talk bad about anything. Like I said before, Christians leave such a bad taste in people’s mouths, even myself. I was like, I’m not gonna go to church. I had these church friends and I was like, you guys are cool, I like you guys, but I’m not going to church. Then it was the same thing of, just because you went to a weird church before doesn’t mean that this is weird. It doesn’t make you a Christian just by going to church. I think that going to church is fellowship, it’s relationship, it’s what we’re here on the earth to do, to have this connection that you feel there’s no insecurities. I think that’s where we need to be. Like I said, you don’t need to go to church to be a Christian. If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn’t make you a taco.
