Taylor Lautner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and grew up in Hudsonville, Michigan.

Lautner was raised Roman Catholic[1] and seems rather devout actually. Allegedly, there is an interview where he preaches the virtues of abstinence.[2] Plus, he's reportedly drug and alcohol-free.[3]

Lautner hasn't taken a political stand as of yet. But given his religiosity and the resulting positions on sex and drugs, it's reasonable to assume he's probably a conservative. But the various question and answer sites on the internet seem to agree that Lautner considers himself a Democrat.[4]
