Hi guys I wanted to let you know True and I tested positive for Covid. I’ve had to cancel several commitments and I’m sorry I won’t be able to make those happen. Luckily I have been vaccinated so all will be ok. We will be over here in quarantine and following current guidelines.

I believe totally in your freedoms. I do. You’ve got to do what you have to do. But I recommend: Take the vaccines. I did it – it's good.

vaxxed n masked. :black_heart: this is your gentle reminder to please get your vaccines if you are eligible. this thing is not yet over ! sharing some info because i care and if i can, i’d like to help anybody who is hesitant or curious with making their decision. this delta variant is very new and since data is changing all the time, i’ll source some links for you to stay up to speed yourself but so far… we do know that it spreads much more easily compared to previous variants. most of the spread is among unvaccinated people and in areas with low vaccination rates ! and yes although you can still get it while vaccinated, the vaccine helps to protect against severe illness, hospitalization, and death ! all great things to be protected against in my book. oh and if you have already gotten sick with COVID-19, you should STILL get vaccinated !

Today I got my first COVID-19 vaccination dose. I am extremely grateful and privileged to be able to live in a part of the world where I can already get vaccinated. The vaccine distribution around the world is extremely unequal. According to New York Times; “84 percent of shots that have gone into arms worldwide have been administered in high- and upper-middle-income countries. Only 0.3 percent of doses have been administered in low-income countries.” No one is safe until everyone is safe. But when you get offered a vaccine, don’t hesitate. It saves lives. #VaccineEquity

It’s very late on Monday and I can’t sleep and I just thought you know maybe there’s someone out there that just waiting to be convinced to get the vaccination, and this is me saying Do it, get that vaccine.

Getting a vaccine shot is critically important for you, for your loved ones and for the country of @Canada. The sooner we all do this, the sooner this dreadful thing will go away. Please consider getting a vaccine shot now. Captain's Orders or at least a request.

Getting the vaccine came down to one thought process for me, I simply would rather risk potential side effects of a vaccine than risk lives by catching or spreading covid. It’s normal to be cautious when something new comes along.

If you have an opinion that is in any way anti-vaccination, we’re going to basically delete your message. You’re wrong please look up more better sources of information uh about that to refactor your opinion on the matter.

There’s no proof of a link between vaccines & Autism. The UK Doctor who reported it, falsified his findings and is no longer a Doctor. If you look at our history in this country, the Tuskegee experiment, Henrietta Lacks, it raises flags for us as African American people. So I understand why there’s a healthy skepticism about the vaccine. I didn’t really feel like I could trust it. … But once I got all of the information, found out the researchers, I was very, very happy.

This week I went to Sacramento to talk to legislators in California about a proposed bill. I am not against vaccinations — I support children getting vaccinations and I also support families having the right to make educated medical decisions for their children alongside their physicians. My concern with #SB276 is solely regarding medical exemptions. My dearest friends have a child with a medical condition that warrants an exemption from vaccinations, and should this bill pass, it would greatly affect their family’s ability to care for their child in this state. That’s why I spoke to legislators and argued against this bill. Not because I don’t believe in vaccinations, but because I believe in giving doctors and the families they treat the ability to decide what’s best for their patients and the ability to provide that treatment. I encourage everyone to read more on this issue and to learn about the intricacies of #SB276. Thank you to everyone who met with me this week to engage in this important discussion!
