Latino Community

We show up, we have helped build this country, we are the essential workers, caring for Americans in hospitals, picking foods on the fields, fighting for freedom here and abroad, we deserve respect, we deserved dignity and we deserve to live in a country that values us.

We are seeing the rise of hate. We are seeing the rise of a lack of safety for our children, for our community. That is the impact that this president has had on our lives.

We need a president who will protect our Latinx community and not demonize us.

We all need to do our part to get Trump out of the White House and elect a leader who knows the latinx community, who knows how valuable our community is, and who knows that when latinx community succeeds, America succeeds. Joe doesn't wanna just build back America like it was before Trump, he wants to build it back better.

It’s devastating and shocking and embarrassing and shameful. […] All of these issues have been there under the surface and they’re boiling up and it’s really hard to face and look at. But in order to solve the problem we have to be aware that the problem is there. I think we’re at a point where people are having to reckon with the reality of where we are at.

It’s been a heartrending time to be both a woman and an immigrant in this country. Our dignity, our character, our rights have all been under attack, and a platform of hate and division assumed power yesterday. But the president is not America. His cabinet is not America. Congress is not America. We are America. And we are here to stay.

The fact that an individual like Donald Trump, a candidate for the presidency of the United States for the Republican party, has the audacity to continue to gratuitously harass the Latin community makes my blood boil.
